We are home!
Events took a turn for the worst and my hubby fell ill. We travelled with Adi on an emergency travel document and arrived home last week.
We had quite a chaotic end to our stay in Delhi therefore and a rushed journey home. Poonam was wonderful and calmed us down with sturdy advice. We did have an amazing time in Delhi looking back, it was quite an experience!
It is freezing cold here in the UK! We have had snow for the past few days. We have only taken Adi out briefly for a quick dash to the car and havn't ventured further yet. He doesn't seem to mind the cold as much as we do!
Adi is growing well, he was 5.77 kg at last weigh in so larger than average for an 8 week old! He is starting to coo and ahh and make more eye contact and smiles and giggles sometimes!!
We are settling back in nicely and preparing ourselves for the final phase gaining a full British passport for Adi and a parental order through the High Court.

ReplyDeleteWelcome home guys. It has been quite the adventure... and by no means over. Lovely that much of the more stressful side of this is now done, and you are getting to just be parents without the paperwork!
