There are a number of criteria to meet to get a medical visa, so we advise British nationals to seek advice before undertaking the surrogacy process. We were allowed to add it to our visa application yesterday with an urgent request for updated information as to the progress of our visa application because we are 7 months into a surrogacy pregnancy and have been asked to travel over at week 37 (January 20th)
Please also bare in mind we had a letter from Natalie Gamble stating the laws involved and that our child will be born British and a letter saying similar from an Immigration lawyer. This letter was therefore in addition.
